NDLEA appreheds notorious drug dealer in Akwa

Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency(NDLEA) Anambra State Command have arrested one Chimezie Okoye, a notorious drug dealer in Awka, Anambra State.

Okoye Chimezie aka Don was arrested with 6.5 grammes of methamphetamine and 3.3 kg of Cannabis Sativa (Skunk) at his God of grace lodge “5” decking in Awka on Saturday 25th May, 2019.”

According to Odigie Charles Efosa, the Public Relations Officer of NDLEA Anambra State command, Chimezie Okoye was arrested at Ifite Awka area of the state capital.

Efosa explained that State Commander of NDLEA, Mr Momodu Sule, said the suspect would be charged to court for prosecution, to serve as a deterrent to other drug dealers in the town.

“Sule advised others involved in the illicit trade to either shun it or face the music as his command was ready to fight dealers of hard drugs in the State”.
